PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element which has a long service life by increasing a capture amount of solid particles before filtration on a deep layer part of filter medium.SOLUTION: The filter element 51 comprises: an inflow passage 55 having an element inflow hole 55a at an upstream side and blocked at a downstream side by filter medium 52 extending toward inflow direction of fluid; and an outflow passage 57 having an element outflow hole 57b at a downstream side and blocked at an upstream side, the inflow passage and the outflow passage formed by being partitioned. On a face on the inflow passage 55 side of the filter medium 52, a projection 58 projecting toward a direction orthogonal to the inflowing direction is provided. |
