PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle in which snow accretion to a vehicle lower part is suppressed and a travel resistance is reduced.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle is provide with: a space part (4) formed in a vehicle lower part of a railroad vehicle and in which a carriage (3) having a wheel (31) is disposed; and a covering device (2) disposed in the front and the rear in a vehicle longitudinal direction (X direction). The covering device (2) has a first covering member (21) extending in a vehicle vertical direction (Y direction), a second covering member (22) which is extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction (X direction) from a bottom edge of the first covering member (21) and covers a clearance (41) between the first covering member (21) and the wheel (31) during running of the railroad vehicle, and which is movable so as to form the clearance (41) during non-travelling of the vehicle. |
