A three-dimensional puzzle, puzzle platform or display platform of a kind having magnetic interactions between a solid or non-solid core and plural pieces held, with or without contact, to a spherical core. The plural pieces are of two kinds that collectively provide a substantially tessellated surface, one type of piece being at least notionally square when viewed towards the core and the second type of piece being at least notionally triangle when viewed towards the core. The chord lengths of each piece, four for each at least notionally square piece and three for each at least notionally triangle piece, are substantially equal. The puzzle or game platform may be in conjunction with a levitator utilising magnetic interactions. |
