PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost resolver having a high detection precision of the rotary angle of a motor shaft used for a drive motor. SOLUTION: The resolver 100 comprises: an excitation signal generator 10 generating a sinusoidal wave aSinωt and a cosine wave aCosωt as an excitation signal W1; a rotor 30 receiving the excitation signal W1; and a rotary transformer 40 detecting an output signal W2 in the rotor 30. The resolver 100 detects the angle information of the rotor 30. The resolver 100 has a controller 60 for control for outputting angle information at the zero-cross point of an output signal W2 detected by the rotary transformer 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
