PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VR type double redundant system by providing a plurality of protruding magnetic poles in the symmetric positions of a ring-shaped stator and by providing two protruding portions on a rotor. SOLUTION: The redundant system rotary type finite angle detector forms first and second channel sensors (10, 11) by using a plurality of first and second protruding magnetic poles (2, 2A), which are provided in the symmetric positions of the ring-shaped stator (1), and the rotor (4) which is rotatably provided within the ring-shaped stator (1) and has at least first and second protruding portions (4A, 4B), thereby forming a double redundant system.
