PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for the corrosion rate of a reinforcing bar to accurately acquire a corrosion domain of the reinforcing bar and its measuring instrument. SOLUTION: By this measuring method, the degree of corrosion rate of a reinforcing bar in its domain surrounded by at least three measurement points P1 to P3 can be acquired in each time of measurement and the tendency of the corrosion rate of the reinforcing bar in the relevant domain can be planarly acquired from the degree of corrosion rate of the reinforcing bar. Accordingly, even where a measurement result obtained during a certain measurement period is affected by external factors, for example, the effect of the external factors can be substantially eliminated by relatively comparing the tendencies of the planarly acquired corrosion rates of the reinforcing bar with each other. Repetition of this with respect to all measuring object domains makes it possible to accurately acquire the corrosion rates of the reinforcing bar in all the area of the object domain without erroneous determination.
