PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hydrophilized magnetic substance-including particle having excellent chromatographic developability, performing highly sensitive immunoassay, and also to provide the hydrophilized magnetic substance-including particle, and a particle for immunoassay. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the hydrophilized magnetic substance-including particle includes: a process wherein a magnetic substance-including particle comprising an organic polymer material and a magnetic substance dispersed in the organic polymer material is subjected to hydrophilization processing by using ozone water having a concentration of 20 ppm or higher.
