PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve structure for a shock absorber, which compatibly attains ride comfort on a vehicle and a stroke length. SOLUTION: The valve structure for the shock absorber is provided with: a valve disc 1 having a port 2a for isolating one chamber 41 from the other chamber 42 and communicating one chamber 41 with the other chamber 42; and a leaf valve 10a laminated on the side face of the other chamber of the valve disc 1 for opening/closing the port 2a. It comprises: a partition wall body 20 arranged on the side of one chamber 41 beyond the valve disc 1 for partitioning the port 2a from the one chamber 41; an annular body 22 arranged on the side of one chamber 41 beyond the partition wall body 20 and opposed to the partition wall body 20 via a gap A; a main flow path 20a and a sub flow path 20b provided in the partition wall body 20 for communicating the one chamber 41 with the upstream side of the port 2a; a communication-hole 22a provided in the annular body 22 so as to be opened from the side of one chamber 41 and communicated with the gap A; and a sub leaf valve 24 provided between the annular body 22 and the partition wall body 20 for closing the sub flow path 20b of the partition wall body 20 with pressure from the side of the communication hole 22a.
