PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor having a motor and a reduction gear mutually separable while allowing a user to freely replace the reduction gear. SOLUTION: In the geared motor, gear cutting work is applied to the output shaft of the motor and the initial-stage gear of the reduction gear meshes with the output shaft. Machining for helical teeth 21a (31a) to mesh with each other is applied to the output shaft 10 of the motor 1 and to the initial-stage gears 21A<SB>1</SB>(31A<SB>1</SB>) of the reduction gear for meshing with the output shaft 10.
