PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus that burns fuel originating from plant capable of maintaining constant fire power over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This combustion apparatus has a solid fuel storing body 6 for storing solid fuel originating from plant and having a permeable fuel holding member at a lower end, combustion chambers 3a, 3b provided at a lower part of the solid fuel storing body 6, an exhaust device 5 communicated with the combustion chambers 3a, 3b, and an outside air intake port 1 on the solid fuel storing body 6.
