Provided is a detection sensor for detecting an operation load with high accuracy, even when the direction of action of an operating reaction force changes in association with the actuation of an operating member. A shaft body is passed via the through hole of a strain-generating element, and a detection circuit is provided for detecting strain from the output signals of load sensors attached to the outside periphery of the strain-generating element. The strain-generating element is held by an operating member, and the detection circuit is configured as a Wheatstone bridge circuit having four resistors. The resistors are configured by the serial connection of load sensors at locations bilaterally symmetrical about a detection center in a first direction of a detection surface. |
