SMART REMOTE CONTROLLER AND SMART REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A smart remote control system comprises: a smart remote controller to recognize a remote control signal of an infrared remote controller to generate first compressed data, then use a wireless communication method to transmit the first compressed data to a portable terminal, receive second compressed data transmitted from the portable terminal to convert the second compressed data into a remote control signal of the infrared remote controller, and then transmit the remote control signal; and the portable terminal to receive the first compressed data to construct a database using the first compressed data to store the first compressed data, divide and store the first compressed data for each product of a company to be controlled based on a code value of the remote control signal, provide a different remote controller input interface for each product of each company when executing a remote control application, and transmit the second compressed data corresponding to a value inputted via the remote controller input interface.
