PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is difficult to suppress increase in the manufacture cost and enlargement of the apparatus in a light source apparatus capable of applying a plurality of types of light beams with different wavelength bands.SOLUTION: The light source apparatus includes: a light source for exiting irradiation light; a rotary turret including a plurality of light passage areas at respective peripheral areas in an outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral side; means that moves the light source relative to the rotary turret so as to dispose one peripheral area of the outer peripheral side and the inner peripheral side in an optical path; and drive means that rotates the rotary turret so as to sequentially insert the light passage areas to be disposed at the peripheral areas on the optical path, onto the optical path at timing synchronized with an imaging period. The rotary turret includes a first number and a second number of light passage areas disposed at the respective peripheral areas in the outer peripheral side and the inner peripheral side. Furthermore, the drive means controls a rotation period of the rotary turret according to the number of light passage areas disposed at the peripheral areas on the optical path such that the plurality of light passage areas to be disposed at the peripheral areas on the optical path are sequentially inserted into the optical path at the timing synchronized with the imaging period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
