PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive connecting structure between a shaft and a universal joint yoke capable of acknowledging occurrence of failure to a driver at an early time.SOLUTION: In this connecting structure P, an insertion part 55 of a shaft 35 is inserted into and passed through an insertion hole 49 of a universal joint yoke 43. An outward protrusion 54 of an extremity end 53 of the shaft 35 oppositely faces against a peripheral edge 51a of a first opening 51 of the insertion hole 49 with a clearance AS being arranged in an axial direction X1. A fixed part 57 adjacent to the insertion part 55 is fixed by welding to a peripheral edge 52a of a second opening 52 of the insertion hole 49. An engaging part arranged at the outer periphery 55a of the insertion part 55 can be engaged with an engaged part arranged at the inner periphery 49a of the insertion hole 49 with a rotation allowing clearance for a phase adjustment in rotating directions Y1, Y2. |
