PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus including a friction-reducing member which reduces friction to be generated between a belt member and a fixing member, the friction-reducing member being fixed between the belt member and the fixing member, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A friction-reducing sheet 28 is positioned by pressing a tip of a middle end part 28a against a positioning part of a fixing clip 29, to hold the middle end part 28a by bending an attachment part of the fixing clip 29, thereby attaching the fixing clip 29 to the tip of the middle end part 28a. The middle end part 28a of the friction-reducing sheet 28 is wound the prescribed times on the fixing clip 29 attached to the tip of the middle end part 28a. The middle end part 28a of the friction-reducing sheet 28 wound the prescribed times on the fixing clip 29 is attached to a middle fixing slit 26d of a fixing member 26, so as to be fixed to the fixing member 26 on the upstream side in a conveyance direction of a recording medium. |
