HIGHLY MINUTE PRINTER AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly minutely print by incorporating porous units having open cell foams for impregnating inks of a plurality of colors in ink transfer means for printing a printing base material, and transferring the inks of the respective colors in one printing step. SOLUTION: A printing base material 3 is intermittently moved on a surface plate 2. An ink transfer means 4 is brought into contact with the material 3 in the state that it is stopped on the plate 2 to form an ink pattern. Porous units 5 having open cell foams for impregnating inks are provided at surfaces of the means 4 brought into contact with the material 3. The ink is press injected in the means 4 by a pump 7 from an ink reservoir 6, transferred onto the material 3 via the unit 5 having the foams to form a pattern. Thus, precise multi-color printed matter can be manufactured in one time printing step without registering.
