<p>The present invention provides apparatus for launching devices formed from an elongate housing. The apparatus includes a launch housing (1) that defines an elongate cavity (4), with an aperture (6) extending through a first end of the housing to the cavity. A seal (11) is provided in the cavity so as to define first and second portions, each of which adapted to receive a respective device (7A, 7B). At least two charges (16A, 16B) are coupled to the second end of the launch housing in use, with two flow paths (15A, 15B) extending from a respective one of the charges to a respective portion through the launch housing. A control system (18) is then used to activate a first one of the charges to expel the first device from the first portion, and to activate a second one of the charges to expel the second device from the second portion.</p> |
