The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof, capable of conveniently checking more an item matching various conditions when a plurality of items is displayed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of controlling a mobile terminal comprises the steps of: displaying at least a part of a plurality of display items on a touchscreen; selecting at least one condition; determining whether each of the display items matches the selected one condition; displaying at least one first display item matching the selected one condition and at least one second display item not matching the selected one condition among the display items according to the determination result such that at least one first display item and the at least one second display item are discriminated from each other through a predetermined visual effect; and according to a touch input inputted through the touchscreen, changing at least a part of the display items displayed on the touchscreen among the display items. If the touch input corresponds to a scroll command, the changing step is performed by scrolling at least one first display item at a first speed when at least one first display item is displayed on the touch screen and scrolling at least one second display item at a second speed higher than the first speed when only at least one second display item is displayed on the touchscreen. |
