Method for billing a service in a communication network

A reliable trusted billing function accurate in definable intervals is offered to application service providers registered in a simple way to an operator of a stateless proxy or application brokers and to registered clients. When a service is given, client and server constantly intercommunicate in the background at regular intervals via an independent third party/proxy about fees incurred. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) An application server for processing a client's requests; (B) and for a client for placing requests with a service relaying device for billing for a service in a communications network; (C) and for a method for billing for a service in a communications network.
