MAGNETOSTATIC WAVE OSCILLATOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostatic wave oscillator in which an air gap between magnetic poles with a smaller gap interval can be formed by eliminating or reducing a limit of the interval of the air gap without making the thickness of a magnetostatic wave device thin to thereby obtain a stronger magnetic field, with the result that a higher oscillated frequency can be obtained and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The magnetostatic wave oscillator is provided with: a first magnetic pole piece attached to one pole of a magnet; a second magnetic pole piece attached to the other pole of the magnet via an external yoke; and an oscillation circuit board at either of the first and second magnetic pole pieces and having the magnetostatic wave device, wherein a recessed part or a hole is formed in the circuit board and the magnetostatic wave device is arranged in the recessed part or the hole.
