PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: In the lens driving device, a moving lens is stored in a lens barrel 13, a cam barrel 14 is turnably provided outside the lens barrel 13 and has a cam structure for guiding the moving lens in an axial direction in accordance with the turn inside, a first shape memory alloy wire 16 is wound on the outside of the cam barrel 14 so that it turns in one direction by a change in wire length, and a second shape memory alloy wire 18 is wound on the outside of the cam barrel 14 in a direction opposite to that of the first shape memory alloy wire 16 so as to turn the cam barrel 14 in the direction opposite to the one direction by the change in the wire length.
