DUAL MODE DMB TERMINAL CAPABLE OF RECEIVING SATELLITE DMB AND TERRESTRIAL DMB SIMULTANEOUSLY

A dual mode DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal capable of simultaneously receiving satellite DMB and terrestrial DMB is provided to perform the reproduction of a program and the record of another program of the satellite and terrestrial DMB programs. A satellite DMB tuner(201) receives the satellite DMB broadcasting signal corresponding to the channel of the user's desired frequency. A satellite DMB modulator(202) modulates the satellite DMB broadcasting signal and outputs the first MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)2-TS(Transport Stream) to a DMB classification member(205). An MPEG2-de-multiplexer(207) de-multiplexes the first and second MPEG2-TSs. An MPEG2-TS output member(208) decodes the de-multiplexed first and second MEPG2-TSs. A control member(209) transmits the user's selection information to the DMB classification member so that a switching operation is performed.
