A lightweight high-strength construction material is provided to simplify a manufacturing process and to cut down on the manufacturing cost, to do no harm to the human body, to increase soundproofing, heat insulating and waterproofing effects and to be manufactured in various patterns by using environment-friendly materials. The invention relates to a lightweight high-strength construction material(1) enabling to use as a flooring material of a building by inserting elastic rubber(13) to many fitting grooves(12) formed on the surface of the construction material, and to use for a material of a wall by forming a connecting groove on each side of the construction material and inserting a coupler to the connecting groove to be connected with other construction materials widely and attaching marble on one side of the construction material with epoxy adhesives. The lightweight high-strength construction material is manufactured by forming a mixture composed of 73~83 weight percent volcanic rock powder, 5~11 weight percent germanium powder, 4~10 weight percent mica powder, 1~5 weight percent borax powder, 1~3 weight percent sodium hydroxide powder, 0.5~1.5 weight percent calcium carbonate powder and 0.5~1.5 weight percent carbon powder, pouring the mixture in a mold and mixing with water to generate and expand air bubbles, and then firing the lumped mixture at 600°C.
