A wood pattern forming method is provided to secure a visual effect as if persons look at the real trees and to produce a base part hardly damaged or deformed for a long time. The wood pattern forming method comprises the steps of: coating a base part(10) with first paint(11) expressing the inner color of the bark of a tree; coating the base part with second paint expressing the color of the bark of a tree; and scratching the surface of the base part coated with the second paint to enable persons to check the first paint with eyes. The first paint includes red and yellow paints and the red paint is applied on the base part at first and then the yellow paint is applied. The second paint has brown color.
