A box making method is provided to print desirable shapes on the upper end and lateral sides of a box and to laterally expand a development figure. A development figure of a box is drawn on one paper by applying various patterns(1) to a rectangular parallelepiped, a pentagon, a hexagon, a regular hexahedron, and a polygon. And then, the bottom side is attached by using an adhesive agent. The patterns are twisted when viewing from the upper end of the box, and vertically set up, gathered, and bound together. Or, the patterns are fitted to each other through pattern cutter lines. The cutter line is shaped like an oval(6), a straight line, a curve, or a round triangle and formed around the pattern on an upper end of the box.
