An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve temperature distribution of an assistant seat by discharging air-conditioned air discharged from the shower duct to the assistant seat through a flow duct integrally formed on an under cover for protecting a blower. An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioning case(10), a blow unit(20), a shower duct(30) and an under cover(40). The air conditioning case is equipped with a defrost vent, a face vent, a floor vent, doors controlling opening degree of the respective vent, an evaporator and a heater core heat-exchanging internal air with external air in the inside. The blow unit includes an intake duct selectively introducing internal and external air to the air conditioning case, and a blow motor(22) and a blow wheel(23) forcibly blowing the internal and external air to the inside of the air conditioning case. The shower duct is installed in the floor vent, and discharges air-conditioned air to a driver seat and an assistant seat, respectively. The under cover is installed in a side of the assistant seat so as to protect the blow motor.
