A plasma display panel and a method of preventing a burn-in are provided to suppress a burn-in caused when the PDP is turned off by displaying an anti-burn-in pattern. A plasma display panel includes a display unit(40), an OSD(On Screen Display) control block(20), an input unit(10), an anti-burn-in block(30), and a controller(50). The OSD control block includes an OSD memory and an OSD generator. When an anti-burn-in menu is selected, an anti-burn-in setting OSD is displayed. When an anti-burn-in function is activated, an anti-burn-in pattern is displayed on the PDP(Plasma Display Panel) when the PDP is turned off.
