The bag (1) has a chamber (4) with an impact side (A) arranged and provided to come in contact with a passenger for protecting the passenger in an inflated condition. An outer side (S) of the chamber is turned away from the impact side of the chamber. A set of chambers (5, 6) connected with the former chamber is provided such that a set of installation sides (S', S'') lie against the outer side of the former chamber and another set of installation sides (A', A'') that face the former sides are supported in a body area of a motor vehicle or an immersive object.
