PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein since a temperature gradient is generated in the thickness direction of a lap of a fixed scroll, thermal expansion differs between inner and outer peripheral sides of the lap, leading to uneven contact of a lap tip part. SOLUTION: Considering the temperature gradient generated in the thickness direction of the lap 12b of the fixed scroll 12, a lap upper face 12c of the fixed scroll 12 is partially lowered with respect to a portion 12f contacted with a panel board 13a of a turning scroll 13 on the outer peripheral face of the fixed scroll 12.
