PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like hair-dressing agent exhibiting enhanced hair-redressing properties that imparts appropriate moisture-retaining property while retaining a good feeling of use and a quick-drying property as a gel-like hair-dressing agent. SOLUTION: The gel-like hair-dressing agent comprises an alkaline thickening agent and an alkali agent, where the gel-like hair-dressing agent contains 0.5-7.5 wt.% of a nonionic polymer compound (A) comprised of a vinylpyrrolidone copolymer and 20-40 wt.% of ethanol and a polyhydric alcohol (B), with the weight ratio of ethanol to the polyhydric alcohol of 1:1.5 to 1:4, in 100 wt.% of the gel-like hair-dressing agent.
