PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone support unit capable of surely and easily being connected to the other stone support unit in the circumference of a corner even though the size of a stone is greater than a predetermined one. SOLUTION: A band-shaped connecting plate 27 is fixed at a corner of a base, and the connecting plate 27 is extended toward the upper part as the plate is directed outwardly of the base, and the tip of the connecting plate 27 is a connection part to the connecting plate 27 in the other stone support unit 1. Thus, the tip of the connecting plate 27 is secured a certain height enough for performing operation even though a gap between the stone support unit 1 adjacent each other becomes narrower and deeper based on a big size of a natural stone 4 which is greater than the predetermined one by laying down a number of stone support unit 1 on a construction surface 28.
