PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which can effectively disclose identification information in a limited area so as not to produce confusion for an operator even when call origin information is falsified. SOLUTION: A control unit 3 memorizes a mail received from a radio unit 4 or a SMS (Short Message Service) in a mail database DB7, extracts link target information such as a telephone number or mail address, etc., from the memorized mail or SMS by an electronic mail analysis unit 5, and carries out pop-up display of registration contents which agree with the link target information based on registration information in a telephone directory DB6 on a display screen of the mail or SMS when a pointer is positioned in a display part of the link target information such as the telephone number or mail address, etc., out of the mail and SMS displayed on the display unit 1.
