PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a piezoelectric device having high mass productivity by forming a glass base containing a metal wire in a glass wafer.

SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device (100) include: a piezoelectric vibrating piece (30) having a first electrode pattern (33) and a second electrode pattern (34); a glass base (40) having a first surface and an opposite second surface of the first surface and placing the piezoelectric vibrating piece; and a lid portion (65) for sealing the piezoelectric vibrating piece. The glass base (40) has a first metal wire (23) and a second metal wire (23) whose ends are exposed on the first surface and the second surface, and the ends of the first metal wire (23) whose end is exposed on the first surface and the second metal wire (23) are connected to a first electrode pattern (33) and a second electrode pattern (34) respectively.
