IMAGE PROCESSOR AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prepare a report without any restrictions on expression when preparing the report for diagnostic contents based on a medical image.

SOLUTION: This image processor has: an image input part 301 used for inputting the medical image; an image analysis part 302 acquiring information related to a region name or a disease name based on an analysis result to the inputted medical image; an input part 305 used for inputting a result obtained by reading the medical image as character information; a conversion candidate prediction part 306 outputting a conversion candidate associated to the inputted character information; and a display control part 307 converting the inputted character information into the character information selected from the conversion candidates and displaying it. The image processor also has a priority order setting part 303 presetting priority order to the character information outputted as the conversion candidate such that the character information related to the acquired information is preferentially outputted.
