<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement an image display device which is capable of performing good image display by reducing situations that an image part to be adjusted and an OSD menu overlap and display of the OSD hinders an image from being sufficiently adjusted, when using the OSD menu to adjust the image. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device, which displays the OSD menu for adjusting an image to be displayed, includes an OSD generation means 1 for generating OSD data, an OSD display area setting means 2 for user's setting a display area of the OSD menu, an OSD display size correction means 3 for correcting the display size of the OSD menu so that the OSD is within the display area when displaying the OSD menu, an OSD display position correction means 4 for correcting the display position of the OSD menu, and an OSD output means 5 for performing output for display of the OSD menu. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
