An optical probe according to an embodiment includes an optical fiber which receives light emitted to an object from a light source; a lens which condenses the light of the optical fiber; and a wave front modulator which has a pattern to modulate the wave front of the light of the optical fiber. The optical fiber, the lens and the wave front modulator are arranged on the same axis. Light passing through the wave front modulator can be focused on the same axis. The resolution or the depth of focus can be controlled by pattern design formed on the wave front modulator.
