The present invention relates to a system for treating wastewater, which can stably and efficiently remove phosphorous and nitrogen and which can enhance a flow rate control function through selective inflow. According to the present invention, provided is the system for treating wastewater, comprising: a first anaerobic tank and a second anaerobic tank in which anaerobic reaction is performed, and which separate sludge; a first intermittent aeration tank and a second intermittent aeration tank which each comprise a treated water discharge unit, and which repeat an aeration step and a non-aeration step; a first cross sludge transfer device which transfers sludge from the first anaerobic tank to the second intermittent aeration tank; a second cross sludge transfer device which transfers sludge from the second anaerobic tank to the first intermittent aeration tank; a first sludge transfer device which transfers sludge from the first intermittent aeration tank to the first anaerobic tank; and a second sludge transfer device which transfers sludge from the second intermittent aeration tank to the first anaerobic tank; and also provided is a method for treating wastewater using a selective introduction sequencing batch process. |
