<p>An air conditioner of the present invention includes: a main body in which an air inlet is formed; a discharge unit arranged to be lifted on the top of the main body, and in which an air outlet passage is formed; a luminous apparatus having a plurality of luminous sources selectively emitting first color light and second color light to the air outlet passage; and a cleanliness detection unit to detect the cleanliness of the air. The luminous apparatus can visualize the cleanliness by the emission of the first color light or the second color light through varying the number of luminous sources emitting the first color light and the number of luminous sources emitting the second color light by steps of the cleanliness detected in the cleanliness detection unit, and by the size of an area in which the first color light and the second color light are emitted. A user can easily recognize the cleanliness of air from a distance by level.</p> |
