The offered reluctance synchronous electrical motor contains a teethed rotor (1) without windings and a stator (2) with coils (3) of the m-phase armature winding. At the presented variant there are eight (4 to 11) pole pitches on the stator with two teeth (12) on each of them. The stator teeth step within each pole pitch is equal to the rotor tooth step tz. The adjacent teeth step tp being located next to pitches, for example (6 and 7), can be determined by mathematical expressions given in the description where k1 and k2 are positive integers. If, for example, k1=k2=1, then m=8 and tp=9/8tz. Eight armature coils (3) are in the electrical motor. Each coil which forms one phase of the armature winding covers the stator yoke (13). Coil front end sides do not cross each other. In addition, the active sides of the coil are located between pole pitches, but the passive parts are located between teeth (15) of the non-magnetic encasement (14).By applying voltage to four coils pole pitches (4, 5 and (11) are magnetized in a positive direction, but pole pitches (7, 8 and 9) are magnetized in a negative direction. By removing supply voltage from coils located between pole pitches (5 and 6) and (9 and 10), and simultaneously applying voltage to coils located between the pole pitches (7 and 8) and (11 and 4), the magnetic field in the air gap between the stator and the rotor moves to the right for the distance corresponding to one pole pitch, and the rotor turns for the distance of 1/8 part of tooth step tz. A large number of teeth on the rotor and stator and the possibility of changing the number of energized coils in the armature winding allows the proposed design of the electrical motor to achieve values of specific electromagnetic torque up to 10 to 12 Nm/l.
