The present disclosure relates to a technology for a sensor network, a machine to machine (M2M) communication, machine type communication (MTC), and the internet of things (IoT). The present disclosure discloses a method for providing a content by a device, in which the device outputs a content, determines a learning state of a user for the content on the basis of biometric information of a user, which is received from a sensing device, changes the content on the basis of the determined learning state of the user, and outputs the changed content. The present disclosure may be utilized for an intelligent service (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety related service, and the like) on the basis of the technology. |
