PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing lens that offers reduced total length and higher resolution, and to provide an image capturing device having the same.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens consists substantially of five lenses comprising, in order from the object side, a biconvex-shaped first lens L1, a second lens L2 having negative refractive power and a concave surface on the image side, a third lens L3, a fourth lens L4 having positive refractive power, and a negative meniscus fifth lens L5 having object-side and image-side surfaces that are aspherical. The image capturing lens satisfies conditional expressions: 0<f/f45<0.146, 1.499≤f/f4<5, 0.2<(R5f-R5r)/(R5f+R5r)<1, where f represents a focal length of the entire system, f45 represents a composite focal length of the fourth and fifth lenses L4, L5, f4 represents a focal length of the fourth lens L4, R5f represents a paraxial curvature radius of the object-side surface of the fifth lens L5, and R5r represents a paraxial curvature radius of the image-side surface of the fifth lens L5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
