The invention concerns a method for controlling an interface device (10) of a motor vehicle comprising the following steps: - capturing at least one physiological parameter of a vehicle occupant, especially a driver of the motor vehicle, by means of a sensor device(14); (12) - determining a mental condition of the vehicle occupant by analyzing the captured physiological parameter; (22) - controlling an output device (28) of the interface device (10) to give at least one output in dependency on the analyzed mental condition of the occupant in order to influence his mental condition. (26) Furthermore the invention concerns an interface device (10) designed to perform such a method. |
