The purpose of the present invention is to provide a suitable technology which optimizes discrete state variables and continuous state variables of electricity equipment in an electricity system. An electricity equipment variable computation device according to the present invention, which carries out an optimization computation of state variables of electricity equipment, comprises: a state variable setting unit which sets continuous state variables and discrete state variables; an optimization problem setting unit which sets an optimization problem which includes the continuous state variables and a plurality of presumptive continuous state variables which are set for each value which the discrete state variables are capable of taking, and in which a plurality of situations in which the values of the plurality of presumptive continuous state variables assume prescribed combinations are integrated; and an optimization problem resolution unit which resolves the optimization problem under restriction conditions in which the values of the plurality of presumptive continuous state variables assume the prescribed combinations. |
