PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize operation when a pop-up type operation knob is set at a pushed-in position, in an on-vehicle AV electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle AV electronic apparatus is provided with a rotary encoder 22 having a push-lock type switch and a microcomputer 21. The microcomputer 21 determines whether or not the operation knob 22A is located at a pop-up position or at a storing position by checking an output signal SSW of the switch. When the operation knob 22A is located at the pop-up position, a first process is executed, and when the operation knob 22A is located at the storing position, a second process is executed.
