PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TMR head capable of realizing both a high output and a high bandwidth. SOLUTION: Two laminated films of insulating layer/ferromagnetic layer are formed at different positions on an electrode layer 103, and a current is allowed to flow through the electrode layer 103 from the second ferromagnetic layer 109 to diffuse polarization spin to an electrode portion just below the laminated film of the other insulating layer 104/ferromagnetic layer 105, then a resistance change due to the change in the direction of magnetization of a second ferromagnetic layer 105 is detected by using a circuit in which the input impedance of FET or the like are extremely large.
