PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate status from a node of a cluster of a computer system. SOLUTION: In this method for communicating status from the node of the cluster of a computer system, a first status signal is received from a calculation node, and a default status signal is generated, and a second status signal is generated by using the first status signal and the default status signal. In this method for communication the node status in the cluster of the computer system, a first signal showing the status of a current node is generated, and a second signal showing the status of a preceding node is received. When the current node exists in the cluster, the first signal is transmitted to the next node, and when the current node is removed from the cluster, the second signal is transmitted to the next node.
