PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal information management system and personal information management method for easily registering and updating personal information which a user needs in utilizing service. SOLUTION: A VA service server 4 links the actual address and actual telephone number of a user to the virtual address (VA) and stores them. Service terminals 61 to 64 transmit the virtual address (VA) to a VA service server 4. The VA service server 4 transmits the actual address of the user corresponding to the received virtual address (VA) back to the service terminals 61 to 64. Furthermore, a user client 2 transmits the registration/update requests of the actual address, or the like to the VA service server 4 to register/update the actual address, or the like.
