PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer analysis element having a porous film as a developing layer and having a capacity of more rapidly obtaining a result good in reproducibility, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the multilayer analysis element for analyzing a liquid sample constituted by integrally laminating at least one function layer and at least one non-fibrous porous film on one side of a water-impermeable planar support in this order, an aqueous solution or an organic solution is contained in the non-fibrous porous film without causing the interaction with the function layer and the viscosity of the aqueous solution or the organic solution is 2.5-100 cps.
