PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile engine remote start device capable of accurately determining whether an engine starts or not. SOLUTION: An engine start device 2 receiving engine start command signal and starting automobile engine is provided with a determination voltage storing means storing engine start determination voltage value under a rewritable condition, a rewriting instruction means instructing to rewrite engine start determination voltage value in the determination voltage storing means, a calculation means calculating voltage difference between battery voltage right before voltage is applied to a starter motor or right after voltage apply to the starter motor is stopped, and battery voltage after predetermined time elapses from stop of voltage apply to the starter motor, and an engine start determination means comparing voltage difference calculated by the calculation means and engine start determination voltage value to determine start of the engine.
