PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device configured to change a positional relationship of a pair of detection devices in accordance with opening/closing of a recording medium.SOLUTION: A detection device 2L can be close to or separated from a detection device to be paired, and can change a positional relationship with the opposite detection device in accordance with opening/closing of a notebook to be set on the detection device. The detection device 2L is connected to the opposite detection device with a harness 50. The harness 50 includes a bridge part 52 for linking the detection devices, and a folding part 53 which is connected to the bridge part 52 and is folded double longitudinally. When the detection device 2L is close to or separated from the opposite detection device, the harness 50 is turned while maintaining a circular arc shape in the folding portion 53A, like a caterpillar belt, as a front part and a rear part in the folding part 53 are displaced in a lateral direction, thereby preventing a load from being applied to the harness 50. |
